Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position with med/surg, ortho, and post-op experience in Alabama.

Job Details

• Work in a 30-bed Med/Surg unit with both med/surg and post-op surgery patient populations,

• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,

• Every other weekend required,

• Patient ratio is 6:1,

• Uses Cerner EMR,

• Floating may be required depending on house staffing,

• No call requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license,

• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification,

• Experience in med/surg, ortho, and post-op care required,

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs are required,

• Unacceptable attire includes fake nails, gel nails, dip nails, long nails, and ear pods,

• Successful candidates should have strong time management skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor,

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations,
