• Must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have current CPR certification.
• Collaborates with members of other disciplines.
• Observes patient behavior for changes in order to intervene therapeutically, guide non-professional nursing staff, communicate changes to appropriate staff, and record changes.
• Assists with the staffing process for nursing issues.
• Assists with reviewing all the staffing schedule and informing managers of potential overtime issues then assists managers in making necessary changes as directed by the Registered Nurse.

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• One (1) year psychiatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Current status as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must have a successful background, drug screening, and ABI/FBI fingerprints.
