Position Overview
- Pay range: $30.00 - $48.00 / hour
- Shifts:
full‑time AM and PM - Schedules: 7 a.m.–7 p.m., 7 p.m.–7 a.m.

Job Description
Utilize the nursing process to care for and counsel individuals in promoting health and preventing illness. Apply a systematic critical‑thinking approach to data gathering, assessment, nursing judgment, intervention, and evaluation of patient responses through activities such as health teaching, counseling, and supportive care. Identify patient needs using the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) Synergy Model. Delegate, coordinate, and manage all aspects of nursing care for patients, families, and the community in a timely, cost‑effective manner.
Deliver patient care collaboratively with the patient, families, and multidisciplinary health care team, working alongside physicians, psychologists, podiatrists, and/or dentists.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (required). Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Work experience does NOT substitute for education requirement.
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing (required).
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
- Depending on unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
