Highlights for RN, Wound Care (CWON)

• Full time, DAYS schedule
• NO Holidays, Weekends or Call
• Outpatient setting
• The RN, Wound Care (CWON) will support patients across General Surgery, Urology and Colorectal Surgery teams

• Develop and recommend the plan of care for patients throughout their post-operative course
• Provides advanced clinical guidance to physicians and nursing staff regarding the management of complex wounds, fistulas, moisture management, and pressure ulcers
• Determines appropriate nursing interventions for identified patient problems, symptoms, and teaching needs in respect to wound and ostomy care

• RN Active License
• Completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program
• Current Wound, Ostomy and Continence Certification
• Minimum five (5) years of total nursing experience
• Minimum two (2) years of recent WOC nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Self-directed, independent thinker who possesses a high level of autonomy and flexibility
