Registered Nurse (RN) Full-time

3,8's on weekdays + 12 hour shifts every other Sat/Sun

MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for nursing care of patients within the psychiatric setting in alignment with facility policy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes; ensure patient safety and documentation accuracy.
• Support the patient and family by delivering compassionate care during vulnerable times.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

AL RN License (or eligible to obtain). New grads encouraged to apply. Excellent mentorship and orientation available.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current status as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.
• One (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• LPN must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have current CPR certification.
• New hires are required to attend 7-days of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday plus following Mon-Wed.
• Must successfully pass background check (criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and FBI fingerprint check) and drug screen.
