Job Summary:As a Staff Development Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing education and professional growth of our nurses and other healthcare staff. You will design, implement, and evaluate staff development programs to improve patient care, staff competency, and overall operational efficiency. Your expertise will focus on creating a culture of excellence, promoting evidence-based practice, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive staff development programs, including training sessions, workshops, and online modules, to enhance the knowledge and skills of our nursing staff.
- Conduct needs assessments, performance evaluations, and competency assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and other stakeholders to design and implement organizational initiatives that promote quality patient care and staff development.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to nursing staff to address performance gaps and improve patient outcomes.
- Analyze and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement and modifications as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, incorporating this knowledge into program design and delivery.
- One or more years of experience in nursing education, staff development, or a related field.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
