Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a travel assignment in Birmingham, Alabama . This role provides care for high-acuity patients in a progressive care/step-down unit.
Assignment Details
Location: Birmingham, AL
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: January 6, 2026
Shift: Days
Shift Times: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years progressive care or step-down experience
License: Active RN license required
Certifications:
BLS required
ACLS required
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a step-down/progressive care setting
Monitor and manage high-acuity patients, including telemetry and post-critical care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care
Accurately document care and interventions per facility standards
This assignment is ideal for an experienced Step-Down RN seeking a day-shift travel assignment with a structured patient-to-nurse ratio in a progressive care environment.
