Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a travel assignment in Birmingham, Alabama . This role provides care for high-acuity patients in a progressive care/step-down unit.

Assignment Details

• Location: Birmingham, AL

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Start Date: January 6, 2026

• Shift: Days

• Shift Times: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

• Patient Ratio: 1:4

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years progressive care or step-down experience

• License: Active RN license required

• Certifications:

  • BLS required

  • ACLS required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a step-down/progressive care setting

• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients, including telemetry and post-critical care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care

• Accurately document care and interventions per facility standards

This assignment is ideal for an experienced Step-Down RN seeking a day-shift travel assignment with a structured patient-to-nurse ratio in a progressive care environment.
