We are seeking a Cleanroom Sanitation Technician to support GMP clean rooms and controlled environmental areas at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This critical role is responsible for maintaining product quality and regulatory standards through sanitization, gowning compliance, inventory management, and safety adherence.
Rate: $20/hr + Benefits offered + PTO & Holiday Pay
Schedule:
- Training phase: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (about 1 month)
- Post‑training: M-F, 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with occasional weekend OT (4 hours twice monthly)
- Future schedule shifts possible later on in the year (e.g., Sun‑Thurs or Sat‑Wed); flexibility for early shifts starting as early as 4:00 AM and variable weekdays is essential.
Cleanroom Sanitation & Operations
- Adhere to gowning procedures and protocols within GMP clean rooms
- Perform routine and non‑routine cleanroom sanitization according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules in classified and unclassified areas
- Collect and safely dispose of all non‑hazardous waste from clean rooms per company guidelines
- Retrieve used gowning garments and prepare them for shipment to the launderer
- Carry out material movement tasks and support housekeeping, organization, and 5S continuous improvement initiatives
- Operate basic equipment and perform cleanroom tasks following established SOPs
- Manage stocking, restocking, inventory tracking, and ordering of gowning materials, disinfectants, and consumables; communicate proactively to ensure timely replenishment of low inventory items
- Maintain accurate data entry into company systems and logbooks following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Stay current with SOPs, training, and company policies; attend departmental and group meetings as required
- Understand and support adherence to GDP and cGMP requirements
- Follow safety procedures, use appropriate PPE based on hazard assessments, and proactively identify and assist in resolving safety concerns
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a cleanroom or GMP environment preferred but not required
- Detail-focused with strong adherence to procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and maintain cleanliness in controlled environments
- Flexibility to work varying days, including weekends
