The Production Operator I will report directly to the Plant Manager or their designee and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks including blending and packaging of various finished products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Weigh, blend, and package materials in bags, supersacks, and shipping bins
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
- Sample raw materials for quality assurance
- Submit daily production records
- Operate a forklift
- Operate a wheel loader
- Operate a compact track loader/skid steer
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Comply with all safety and operating procedures
- Assist with maintenance of plant components and mobile equipment
- Other duties, as assigned by Management
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or related experience and /or training
- Wheel loader operating experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Previous experience in production /manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
