* Job Responsibilities:

**** Job Overview
** The Industrial Wastewater Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving industrial wastewater treatment systems to ensure safe discharge in compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
** Roles & Responsibilities
*** Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial wastewater treatment systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation required for environmental compliance and audits.
* Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on wastewater equipment, including pumps, tanks, clarifiers, separators, filters, presses, and dosing systems.
* Transfer fluids and chemicals using pumps and approved handling methods in accordance with MSDS and safety standards.
* Coordinate disposal of waste materials including sludge, skimmed oils, filters, rags, and cleaners.
* Make repairs and modifications to plumbing and piping systems as required.
* Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other equipment as required.
* Collect wastewater samples, perform testing, and adjust chemical treatment processes within specified limits.
** Education & Qualifications
*** High School Diploma or GED required.
* Minimum
** 4 years of experience
** as an Industrial Waste Water Operator or Technician.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and industrial electricity.
* Experience operating industrial wastewater pretreatment systems (oily and metal wastewater preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret chemical analysis data, lab results, and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to properly handle chemicals per MSDS guidelines.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and computer-based maintenance systems (CMMS).
