Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chemical Operator who can work independently and efficiently. The successful candidate will communicate ideas effectively, request actions, and formulate plans or policies under supervision. This role involves developing, monitoring, interpreting, and understanding policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and objectives. The Chemical Operator will organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to meet business objectives and apply safe systems of work.
The role also involves creating and reviewing reports, motivating employees, managing risks in production processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Develop, monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures.
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Manage and apply safe systems of work.
- Create and review relevant reports.
- Motivate employees to learn, grow, and develop.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage risks in production processes.
- Achieve compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in chemical mixing, compounding, and GMP.
- Basic equipment operation.
- Ability to carry out routine tasks and follow strict, detailed instructions.
- Knowledge of chemistry.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to carry out operational tasks following established processes.
- Experience in installing and maintaining equipment.
- Support the quality function by adhering to strict quality standards.
- Follow mandatory work instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment.
The work environment operates on a quarterly swing shift, alternating between day and night shifts every three months.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
