Position: Senior Manufacturing Engineer – 5-Axis Machining
Industry: Aerospace, Defense & High-Complexity Manufacturing
Location: Birmingham, AL
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Role OverviewOur client is a high-complexity, engineering-driven precision manufacturing organization supporting advanced aerospace and defense programs. The work centers on true 5-axis machining—tight tolerances, difficult materials, and NPI-heavy programs executed on world-class equipment.
This is not a desk-only CAM role. This role is for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who owns how parts are made from cradle to grave—from CAD model and machining strategy through validated production—while working directly on the shop floor during setups, prove-outs, and first-run builds.
If you are a well-rounded engineer who has made parts, programmed parts, and now leads how parts get made, this role is built for you.
