As a Warehouse Associate with Avient, you are responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping and receiving materials, material handling and completing all required paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Unload goods and material, enter information into system, label and locate material
• Separate customer orders, pull and stage orders; repack material if required to meet specifications; make boxes, pack, label and locate materials
• Ensure all products are properly labeled
• Perform required transaction functions in the designated system to receive or ship material
• Participate in cycle counting, enter and verify information, research and make adjustments as necessary
• Review preventative maintenance check sheets for forklifts and ensure machines are in good working order
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations; maintain departmental housekeeping standards
• Handle accumulation, disposal and transportation of hazardous waste with required training for RCRA waste management
• Operate forklifts, locomotives, track‑mobiles or other heavy‑duty material movers

• High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience as forklift driver
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals
• Mathematical skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing; ability to use conversions and work with different units (weight, volume, density, distance, etc.)

• Requires standing, sitting, talking and listening for extended periods
• Must be able to walk, use hands, occasionally bend, stoop, climb ladders and stairs
• May occasionally be required to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
• Must frequently communicate and understand work instructions in a fast‑paced, loud environment
• Must detect and respond to safety alarms
• Requires use of personal protective equipment: safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, respiratory protection
• Exposure to outside weather conditions routine; may work in extreme heat and humidity; may encounter dust or fumes
