Plant Production Worker

Summary: Serves as a member of the front-line production team. Responsible for various tasks supporting the production of a high-capacity commercial laundry plant to meet customer needs. Tasks may include:

Soiled and Production Floor Positions Available:

• Soil Sorting
• Dryer Operator
• Wash Operator
• Stain Washer
• Folding
• Commercial Ironing
• Packing and Distributing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Soiled Linen Shift: 4:00 am - 12:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
• Production Floor Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order
• Sorts soiled linen into proper buggies
• Follows directions and safety precautions
• Maintains production standards as determined per hour
• Notifies supervisor if technical problems impact production
• Performs other duties as assigned

Location: Plant located between Fultondale and Tarrant, 120 County Shop Road, Birmingham, AL 35217
