Plant Production Worker

Core Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services across the country. Position Summary: Serves as a member of the front-line production team. Responsible for various tasks supporting the high-capacity commercial laundry plant to meet customer needs. Tasks may include:

• Soiled and production floor positions such as Soil Sorting, Dryer Operator, Wash Operator, Stain Washer, Folding, Commercial Ironing, Packing, and Distributing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Soiled Linen shift hours: 4:00 am - 12:30 pm (Monday through Friday).
• Production Floor shift hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday through Friday).
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
• Sorts soiled linen into proper buggies.
• Follows safety precautions and directions.
• Maintains production standards per hour.
• Notifies supervisor of technical issues affecting production.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Location: Plant located between Fultondale and Tarrant, 120 County Shop Road, Birmingham, AL 35217.
