This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Manager II, based in Greater Birmingham, Alabama Area. The Program Manager II will oversee specific programs or projects, coordinate their execution, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities include budget management, timeline oversight, task delegation, stakeholder collaboration, and monitoring the progress of assigned programs. The Program Manager II will also lead efforts to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance program effectiveness while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications- Project and program management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and monitoring project progress
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capabilities to address challenges and streamline processes
- Proficient in analytical tools, technology platforms, and software used for project management and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership and team‑building abilities
- Prior experience in program or project management in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is highly desirable
- Prior experience in an academic, research, or healthcare setting is a plus
