Description The Operations Manager is responsible for the leadership and operations over an assigned parking account. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with the hotel leadership team, ensure excellent guest experience and supervising full time and part time employees. The essential job functions are listed below but may include duties which are outside of these job functions which are required to meet the need of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Maximize financial performance.
- Participate in the budget development and management process.
- Create and plan programs and projects that adhere to approved budgets and schedules, and oversee their implementation.
- Monitor and maintain timekeeping and schedules on a consistent basis.
- Responsible for ensuring proper coverage for all shift callouts, tardiness, etc.
- Ensure payroll performance, maintenance, and processing.
- Monitor revenue control measures to ensure performance to budget.
- Recommends and implements policies and procedures. Conduct long‑range planning activities and makes recommendations for service improvements to leadership, establishes required service levels and anticipates labor requirements.
- Conduct preliminary review of all reports, budgets, revenues and expenses to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure meeting deadlines for all weekly and monthly reports (RMS, weekly reports, etc).
- Communicate as needed with hotel team regarding occupancy levels, special events, and anything that would fluctuate the staffing needs.
- Participate in hotel meetings as they happen.
- Hold regular staff meetings and leadership meetings.
- Analyze data for recommendations including, but not limited to, competitive analysis.
- Interact directly with clients to maintain and enhance client relationships.
- Be proactive in following up with guest issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Take ownership in property improvement projects from approval to completion.
- Work in developing operational standards to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure all AAA Parking policies and procedures are in compliance (i.e. safety policies, meal break policies, mandatory trainings, etc).
- Monitor supply and inventory, anticipate needs for ordering for operational needs.
- Promotes safety to ensure that the unit follows policies and procedures. Maintains audit controls within the unit.
- Minimize claims and report claims immediately.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous experience working in high‑stress situations with tight deadlines/high customer expectations.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and general Microsoft Office Applications.
- Outstanding Technology experience.
- Experience in account management and revenue collection.
- Previous parking supervisory/management experience
- Previous experience in the parking industry preferred.
