Description

Primarily responsible for ensuring that customer and contractor vehicle service and repair needs are met.

JOB DUTIES

  • Take care of customers, whether they're contract or sale
  • Repair vehicle properly, timely, and with safe techniques
  • Vehicle inspection against industry accepted standards
  • Maintain a tidy work area
  • Perform Warranty repairs per Warranty Policy
  • Weekend availability as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school Diploma/GED OR
  • Vocational/Technical/Business School OR
  • Manufacturer Technician Certifications
  • Knowledge of product
  • Problem solving
  • Basic computer skills

Qualifications

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience Required - Any brand, any shop - Dealer experience and Hyundai experience preferred but not required
  • No supervisory responsibility
  • Tasks are multiple and diverse with some interrelationship across processes.
  • Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents.
  • There is some budget responsibility and expenditure authority.
  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
  • Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
  • Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
  • Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies and practices.
  • Refers unusual problems to supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work involves frequent exposure to unpleasant elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, chemicals, etc. •
  • Position requires continuous moderate or occasional heavy physical activity which includes 15% walking, 50% standing, 10% lifting, 10% pulling, 10% pushing, and 5% sitting.
