Maintenance Purchaser

Help meet production needs by maintaining inventory levels, prioritizing daily maintenance emergencies, and ensuring supplies are available for scheduled equipment maintenance activities.

• Maintain parts area inventory levels, organization, and cleanliness.
• Develop job kits for scheduled work.
• Research parts and supplies; create purchase order requisitions.
• Identify recurring maintenance problems with equipment.
• Research, write, and modify preventive maintenance procedures.
• Regular attendance

• Monitor, schedule, and direct daily maintenance activities related to machine maintenance.
• Coordinate special programs; safety audits, inspections.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs on equipment as needed.

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in procurement or maintenance buying, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRO purchasing, inventory management, and vendor negotiation.
• Proficiency in ERP/CMMS systems and Microsoft Oce Suite.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and reliability practices.
• Understanding of industrial equipment and spare parts terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
