Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year.
A Bit About UsOur client has an immediate need for a litigation attorney to join their growing practice. The firm handles state and federal litigation work, representing large, household name clients. The ideal individual will have existing litigation experience, including how to work up cases and hit the ground running, under the supervision of a more senior attorney. This is a great opportunity for an associate who is looking to have exposure to sophisticated work and be in touch directly with large clients while enjoying a firm that is supportive of work‑life balance (billable hour target is 1,650 per year).

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Permanent Associate Litigation Attorney to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, with a particular focus on Law and Motion Practice. As an Associate Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a case load, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice to our clients.
This position requires strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will have a passion for litigation, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence in the provision of legal services.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
- Select jurors, argue motions, meet with judges, and question witnesses during the course of a trial.
- Study and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Present and summarize cases to judges and juries.
- Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
- Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
- Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuit.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and 5+ years of litigation experience.
- Proven background in Law and Motion Practice.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- High level of professionalism and outstanding business judgement.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- High degree of self‑motivation and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
