As an I.T. Corporate Desktop Support Technician, you will be expected to provide exceptional, personable, efficient, and reliable technical support to ensure seamless operations across our company campus. Responsibilities- Installation and Configuration: Configure and install desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and associated peripherals. Ensure all related software is properly set up and functioning completely.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for desktop computers, printers, and peripheral equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Communication: Ability to attentively listen to non-technical users describe issues and respond by communicating technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with corporate staff at all levels, from standard end users to executives, in order to facilitate smooth operations and effective troubleshooting on current and future tasks.
- Documentation: Document each project and support case thoroughly in our ticketing system. Annotate all updates and resolutions to ensure accurate and complete records.

Manage multiple requests and tasks simultaneously, prioritizing them based on urgency and importance. - Task-Driven: Ability to manage individual tasks and see projects through to completion in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work effectively within a team environment alongside network engineers, systems analysts, programmers, and other IT staff members to solve complex issues and ensure cohesive support.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Must be comfortable operating professionally in an executive-facing support role.
- Proven experience providing technical support in a networked environment.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Foundational understanding of networking principles and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and common software applications with willingness to learn new applications as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
- Relevant education and certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Willingness and ability to be in the office 5 days a week, operate company vehicles, and lift/transport I.T. equipment as needed.
