Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Project Controls Analyst to support program- and project-level reporting across a portfolio of capital and construction initiatives. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and validating recurring reports that provide visibility into cost, schedule, earned value, and overall program performance.
This individual will serve as both the developer and quality control checkpoint for reporting outputs — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data before it reaches senior leadership. The role operates on a structured monthly cadence but requires agility, responsiveness, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain recurring project and program-level reports, including executive roll-up reporting.
- Compile, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources (Excel-based schedules, cost trackers, project control systems, etc.).
- Enter, structure, and analyze project performance data including cost, schedule, and earned value metrics (CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC, percent complete).
- Support change management tracking and reporting related to scope, budget, and schedule adjustments.
- Prepare executive-ready reporting materials in Excel and PowerPoint with clear data visualization.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve reporting processes.
- Manage monthly reporting cycles with a high degree of accountability and attention to detail.
- Triage urgent reporting requests while maintaining accuracy and composure.
- Conduct self-review and quality checks prior to final submission of reports.
- 3–7+ years of experience in project controls, reporting, PMO support, or construction/industrial project environments.
- Experience supporting capital, industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of earned value management concepts and performance metrics.
- Advanced Excel skills required (formulas, pivot tables, data validation; Power Query a plus).
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple deliverables simultaneously.
