Job Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Birmingham, AL. Candidate must have strong expertise in pricing software implementation with the capability to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary technical projects from initiation through delivery.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Leading pricing software implementation projects end‑to‑end, ensuring successful deployment of platforms such as Price Fx, Vendavo, Zilliant, or PROS.
• Driving cross‑functional technical teams by managing development efforts, integrations, microservices, and cloud‑based solution delivery.
• Defining project scope, creating detailed project plans, and managing dependencies, risks, and timelines for medium‑to‑large‑scale programs.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable deliverables and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitoring project performance by establishing metrics, evaluating outcomes, and delivering status reports, ROI assessments, and post‑project reviews.
• Facilitating communication between technical and non‑technical teams to maintain clarity, alignment, and smooth execution across all phases.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of project management experience with strong exposure to technical delivery environments.
• Proven expertise in pricing software implementation, including hands‑on leadership with platforms such as Price Fx, Vendavo, Zilliant, or PROS.
• Capability to drive medium‑to‑large cross‑functional development programs, manage risks, and lead teams across microservices, integrations, and cloud‑based architectures.

Pay range: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour.
