Business Analyst

Overview

One of TEKsystems' long-standing clients, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Birmingham, AL, is looking for a Jr. to Mid-Level Business Analyst to join their organization. The company is in the early stages of an enterprise-wide, large-scale digital transformation that will improve how technology supports the business and future growth. The Business Analyst will learn the business and the technology, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and gather requirements to present to the development team.

The candidate will be the primary point of contact representing the customer’s IT department, communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to understand challenges and concerns with the new system, and coordinating with external technology and services vendors to ensure deliverables meet expectations.

• Learn the business and technology, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather requirements and translate them for the development team.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer’s IT department.
• Understand stakeholders’ challenges and concerns with the new system.
• Coordinate with external technology and services vendors to ensure delivery aligns with expectations.

• Business analysis, requirements gathering, and related terms (e.g., user stories, Jira, business process, reporting).
• Top skills include business analysis, requirements gathering, and analysis.
• This role requires onsite work.
• Experience Level: Entry Level.
• Location/Type:
  Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.

Pay range: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour.
