The opportunityThe role of a Digital Grid Manager will be to provide consulting services to Power & Utilities clients implementing Digital Grid Programs, capabilities and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) resulting in increased value and efficiency. As a Manager in Technology Transformation Program Delivery, you will lead and manage the delivery of cutting‑edge technology transformation projects and programmes, aligning initiatives with organisational strategy to achieve desired outcomes, while managing timelines, costs and quality.
You will lead both technical and non‑technical project teams, coach on Agile and waterfall delivery methods, and propose solutions to technical constraints.
• Manage and deliver one or more processes, solutions or projects, focusing on quality and risk management.
• Engage in continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions through research, analysis and best practice.
• Manage and supervise professional employees, ensuring performance and results.
• Interpret internal and external issues to recommend quality solutions.
• Meet performance objectives and metrics including client service, quality & risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming.
• Travel may be required regularly as needed by external clients.

- Lead/Manage quality assurance for team’s work products and service delivery.
- Lead workstream delivery and track deliverable completion and project status.
- Identify and resolve or escalated issues and risks that affect scope, quality, schedule and resources.
- Participate in new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions.
- Manage engagement economics and implement resource plans and budgets.
- Actively participate in client working sessions and lead work streams in planning, execution and closure.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and lead specific RFP responses.
- Stay current with industry trends to be a trusted advisor/subject‑matter resource.
- Manage resource demand, staffing and allocation.
- Mentor, coach and counsel team members and help EY build an inclusive culture.
- Flexibility and willingness to manage significant travel.
- Support the EY inclusiveness culture.
- Bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree).
- 4‑6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven business or technical work experience in one or more of the following digital grid focus areas: AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS, Network Modeling.

- Track record of client session participation, project delivery leadership, engagement economics management and new service opportunity identification.
