The SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) opportunity focuses on transforming logistics operations to improve cost, efficiency, quality and effectiveness.
As a Senior Technology Analyst in EY’s SAP EWM practice, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions. You will gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions.
Responsibilities- Engage with business stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
- Participate in Explore phase design workshops.
- Configure SAP EWM and related SAP modules.
- Design custom RICEF solutions and document functional specifications.
- Perform testing of solutions.
- Support development and delivery of training materials.
- Provide on-site hypercare support to client warehouse users.
- Demonstrate strong technical capabilities and business acumen; assimilate new knowledge.
- Deliver quality client services, monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in defining and analyzing technology-based business requirements.
- Experience in system configuration design and technology cost-benefit analysis.
- Ability to manage client relationships and communicate with impact.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new knowledge.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience with SAP EWM.
- Strong technical skills in application functional design.
- Expertise in requirements definition, analysis, and mapping for technology projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
- Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues (regulations, industry practices, and new technologies).
- Ability to build and manage relationships effectively.
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40–60%.
- Prior consulting experience or deep functional experience; SAP certification(s).
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP EWM.
- Hands-on SAP system configuration experience.
- Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications.
- Experience writing and executing test scripts and training materials.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations for distribution and/or manufacturing facilities.
