Position Summary
Service Product Support Specialist – Provides expert technical support and service solutions for WMH’s forklift products. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, service coordination, administrative support, and continuous improvement to ensure customers receive top-tier support.

- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical guidance to internal and external clients.
- Serve as the go‑to expert for service‑related inquiries.
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians to optimize workload.
- Monitor and manage work in progress (WIP) and close work orders accurately.
- Continuously improve service efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Maintain detailed service documentation and support rental equipment contracts, shipping, and receiving coordination.
- Manage data entry, warranty claims, and fleet processing.
- Prepare and contribute to monthly departmental reports.
- Strengthen relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
- Support internal teams to foster a collaborative environment.
- Develop in‑depth expertise in forklift products and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service processes and product performance.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - 3–5 years in technical support or service within material handling/forklift industry.
- Deep understanding of forklift systems (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical) with strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven customer focus with strong communication and relationship building.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Organizational skills: prioritize and manage multiple service tasks under pressure.
- Team collaboration with technicians, parts specialists, sales teams, and vendors.
- Proficient in service management software, CRM systems, diagnostic tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, driven by passion for excellence.
- Attention to detail; precise and efficient in every task.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership and coaching ability – guide and mentor teammates.
Job requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching; lifting and moving items 50 lbs or more. Vision requirements: close, distant, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
