Job DescriptionTo train recruitment staff, assist the staff with problem solving, improve recruiter workflow, help with talent attraction and acquisition and lead efforts to improve the applicant onboarding experience. To recruit and retain qualified personnel for assigned departments.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and trains new employees on the recruitment process, including the use of the applicant tracking software and the proper way to process documents needed in the onboarding process.
- Oversees and assists in the coordination of all recruitment events including open houses, college events and various professional conferences and other resources to source qualified candidates.
- Manages schedules and provides supervision to recruiting staff including HRM Associates, HRM Specialists, HRM Staffing Specialists and/or Nurse Recruiters.
- Provides leadership in development of new programs/processes to enhance recruitment, onboarding, and retention and employee satisfaction.
- Works to improve process flow for the onboarding of employees. Assists in managing the applicant experience from initial application to orientation.
- Works to help ensure effective and efficient use of the applicant tracking software, and the use of recruitment sourcing software. Prepares reports related to utilization of applicant tracking system including number of vacancies, time to fill and other reports as needed.
- Researches and works to assess marketing plans and recruitment strategies to improve recruitment effectiveness. Recruits and retains qualified personnel for unit specific problem solving issues.
- Provides guidance to staff in determining appropriate communication channels with managers regarding recruitment needs. Works with staff to resolve any issues or problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
