HR Recruiter (Human Resources)

Birmingham, AL, United States of America

Salary: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Qualifications

We are looking for an HR Recruiter to manage our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates. You will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire, and retain the most qualified employees.

Responsibilities
  • Design and update job descriptions
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video, and in-person)
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
  • Participate in job fairs, travel 25% of the time
  • Collaborate with scheduling manager to identify future hiring needs
  • Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
  • Must be a Notary for the State of Alabama
  • Must be able to work at the office 0800–1600 Monday–Friday
  • Must dress business casual
  • Punctuality is a must
  • Must be able to work alone and as a team
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’s experience in an HR department, be familiar with HR best practices, and be able to travel as needed for the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa areas (25% travel). The position is 70% recruitment, 30% human resources.

Preferred: 1 year (minimum).

High School Diploma / GED.
