- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Centers of Excellence, academic institutions, and health systems
- Provide education and support to healthcare providers advocating for rare disease patients
- Execute strategic business and account plans based on local market conditions
- Collaborate with patient advocacy groups to enhance community education and awareness
- BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
- Proven launch experience in complex and competitive environments
- Demonstrated sales performance with quantifiable accomplishments in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and market access fundamentals
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record as frequent travel is required
- Master's degree and 6+ years or PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in rare diseases and prior experience with Key Accounts and academic institutions
- Previous start-up or market development experience
- Endocrine experience and knowledge of specialty pharmacy distribution
- Proven ability to navigate complex healthcare accounts
