Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Specialty Account Manager to join our team on-site in Birmingham, AL. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure product knowledge and optimal patient care. Responsibilities include managing accounts, achieving sales targets, delivering product information, identifying customer needs, and collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies for market growth. The Specialty Account Manager will also conduct regular field visits and provide insights to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably within specialty or rare disease sectors
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market opportunities and effectively target accounts
  • Ability to understand scientific data to educate healthcare providers about therapeutic benefits
  • Proficiency in managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed
  • Experience in managing accounts specific to ophthalmology or autoimmune diseases is a plus
