CT Supervisor – Full‑time Days

Join the St. Vincent’s Health System as a CT Supervisor in UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham. You will supervise the daily activities of assigned CT staff and ensure high‑quality patient care.

• St. Vincent’s Health System – UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
• Train, coach, and evaluate staff on performance expectations; provide input for hiring and termination procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with team members to ensure effective and efficient delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Perform diagnostics of the system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or the end user encounters difficulty.
• Ensure adequate supply levels, conduct quarterly audits of supply closets, and adjust supply levels as necessary.
• May perform technologist duties as staffing levels require and create work schedules to cover 24/7 diagnostic imaging.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider – obtained within 30 days of hire. Accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One of the following credentials (prior to hire):
• Cardiographic Technologist credential from CCI.
• CT Radiologic Technologist certified by ARRT.
• Radiography Technologist certified by ARRT.
• Sonography Technologist certified by ARRT.
• Medical Sonographer credentialed by ARDMS.

• High school diploma with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR
• Associate’s or technical degree with 1 year of experience, OR
• 5 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience.

• Experience required: CT Supervisor or related leadership role. No additional preferences.
