Inpatient Facility Coding Auditor & Educator
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Facility Coding Auditor & Educator to review inpatient hospital coding for accuracy, compliance, and quality while providing targeted education to coding staff.
Key Responsibilities- Audit inpatient facility coding for ICD-10-CM/PCS accuracy, DRG assignment, and guideline compliance
- Identify trends and provide clear, actionable feedback to coders
- Develop and deliver education based on audit findings
- Maintain audit documentation and quality metrics
- Active CCS, RHIT or RHIA credential
- Inpatient facility coding experience required
- Auditing and coding education experience required
- Strong knowledge of DRGs and inpatient reimbursement
- Experience with Epic, Cer, and Meditech preferred
