Food Service Worker - Highlands Cafeteria

Overview

Pay range: $15.00 - $18.70 / hour

Shifts: full-time and part-time AM and PM

Schedules: 5:00 a.m.

-1:30 p.m., 5:30 a.m.

-2:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m.

- 8:30 p.m.

• We employ food service workers in a variety of assignments each day.
• Tray line associate: work as part of a team building meal trays according to patient orders.
• Dish room/sanitation workers: wash dishes, clean equipment and floors, remove trash and cardboard, and put away clean dishes, pots, and pans.
• Hosts/hostesses or sweepers: hosts visit patient floors to deliver hot meal trays to patients; sweepers collect used trays for cleaning and reuse.
• These jobs are ideal for those who seek a fast-paced environment built around teamwork.

To receive, assemble and prepare food using specialized equipment. To serve food to patients, visitors and staff. To distribute food and supplies and perform sanitation duties.

High School diploma or GED preferred. Certified as completed the Food Handler Training Course by the Jefferson County Department of Health within twenty-one (21) days from date of employment required.
