Position DescriptionUnder general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Supervisor provides specialized support services to the Department of Pathology. The role oversees digital pathology workflow and operations, working with Divisional Directors and pathology faculty members, as well as operating the department’s scheduling applications. The Supervisor meets productivity levels in service scheduling and cultivates extensive knowledge of various digital pathology imaging modalities and applications.
May perform other administrative roles and oversee staff working within the context of whole slide imaging, laboratory information systems, and other related areas within the department.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Experience with image analysis and various image application software preferred.
Must be self-directed / self-motivated; must have excellent communication and outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to:
