Executive Assistant II - Quality Division

Work Schedule:
Full Time:
Monday - Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Work Location:
Quality Division, Jefferson Towers.

General Responsibilities- Provide diverse, complex, and often confidential administrative and support services to an executive under minimal supervision.
- Use independent judgment and initiative on sensitive assignments, including dealing with high-level contacts inside and outside the institution.
- Conduct special assignments such as researching information, compiling reports, and supporting special projects and events as directed.
- Apply knowledge of organizational policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of technical skill.
- Act as office manager.
- Monitor financial, budgetary, and personnel processes.
- Plan and coordinate events.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology may be preferred in some areas.
- Training and certification in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies may be required in some areas.
- Self-directed and self-motivated.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing tasks with no loss of efficiency or composure.
- Accept responsibility for direction, control, and planning of one's own work.
- Work independently.
- Recognize rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality.
- Convey empathy and compassion to patients experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress, or grief.
- Relate to others creating a sense of teamwork and cooperation.
- Communicate effectively with people from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and educational backgrounds.
- Exhibit flexibility and cope effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Perform effectively when confronted with emergency, critical, unusual or dangerous situations.
- Demonstrate a quality work ethic, doing the right thing the right way.
- Maintain a customer focus and strive to satisfy the customer's perceived needs.
