< information into electronic systems, file documents, and maintain the physical and digital filing system.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality of medical documentation.
• Handle requests for medical information from authorized parties while adhering to HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, answer phones, and relay messages related to medical records.
• Create, update, and organize inmate medical records, including assembling and disassembling files.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with a minimum typing speed of 45 WPM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; adaptable to stressful environments with non‑pristine conditions.
• Previous experience preferred.
