• Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and serving
• Develop and implement dietary programs and menus to meet the needs of our patients and facility
• Supervise and train dietary staff, including food preparation personnel and wait staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH)
• Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, social services, and therapy, to ensure seamless patient care
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure food safety and quality standards are met
• Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, including food inventory, dietary menus, and patient nutrition plans

• Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
• Strong knowledge of dietary principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and proficiency
