You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple locations based on clinical need:

- 2006 Brookwood Medical Center Drive, Birmingham, AL 35209
- Coming Soon: BBH Pinson Clinic (anticipated in 3–4 months!)

About the Role
As a Sonographer I, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound services. This position performs sonographic imaging, collaborates closely with radiologists, ensures patient safety, and supports best‑in‑class clinical care—consistent with the attached role description.

Responsibilities🎯
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Performing high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound exams
- Assessing patient needs and providing clear instructions
- Ensuring accurate documentation and patient identification
- Maintaining imaging equipment and exam areas
- Complying with safety standards and infection‑control procedures
- Supporting student or new sonographer training as needed
- Ensuring all studies meet image‑quality expectations for physician interpretation

Required Education & Certification
- Graduate of an accredited school of sonography
- RDMS eligibility
, with ARDMS registration required within 12 months of hire - Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Ability to perform routine ultrasound procedures with consistent competency

Preferred Experience
We’re seeking someone with:
- 1 year of OB/GYN and breast sonography experience (preferred)
- A commitment to patient comfort, safety, and compassionate communication
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with routine ultrasound procedures, as outlined in the job description.
