This is a full-time 7 on/7 off position for a Cardiac Sonographer at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. The Cardiac Sonographer will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including non-invasive evaluations, while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Primary responsibilities include capturing high-quality images, collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver accurate diagnostic information, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adherence to medical protocols and providing timely documentation will also be key tasks.

• Strong knowledge of cardiology and non-invasive cardiology procedures
• Credentials in RCS or RDCS
• A solid foundation in medicine, particularly in diagnostic imaging
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to understand and interpret medical data
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Ability to adhere to safety and regulatory compliance standards
• Relevant experience in cardiac sonography; prior hospital experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program is required
• BCLS within first 7 days of employment
