Patient Logistics Specialist - Center Patient Flow - PM

Position Overview

Pay range: $18.35 - $29.80 / hour

Shifts:

full-time PM

Schedules: 7 p.m.

-7 a.m

Coordinates internal and external patient transfers for UAB hospitals by collecting clinical information, matching patient needs to facility capabilities and facilitating timely acceptance. Collaborates with departments and referring providers to ensure efficient patient flow and appropriate bed assignment. Maintains accurate data, follows clinical and regulatory protocols (including EMTALA), and ensures compliance with quality and communication standards. Uses electronic systems competently and provides professional, responsive service through the transfer call center.

High School diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience.
