Role Description

We are currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician I (MLT I) to support in Birmingham, AL. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative laboratory team and make a direct impact on patient care.

• Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician I (MLT I)
• Department: Microbiology / Core Lab
• Location: Onsite – 50 Medical Park East Drive, Birmingham, AL
• Schedule: Full-Time,
  2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 1:30 AM)
• Start Date: ASAP

• Must meet CLIA requirements
  , including one of the following:
• Associate Degree in Medical Technology
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology / Clinical Laboratory Science
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science with applicable lab training or experience
• 1–2 years of clinical lab experience required
• Core Lab experience required
• Microbiology experience preferred
• Familiarity with LIS (Cerner preferred; Epic a plus)

• ASCP or AMT certification preferred (not required)
