Schedule:
Shifts Available – Full-time Days: 7a-7p;
Full-time Nights: 7p-7a.
- Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
- Assist patients with ambulation as necessary, including helping them to a recliner in their room, walking to the bathroom or down the hall, and assisting dismissed patients in getting safely to their vehicles.
- Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff and document necessary records.
- Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
- Perform certain technical patient care duties in the hospital as directed by the staff nurse such as oxygen setup, foley catheter care, pulse oximetry setup, specimen collection and EKGs.
- Obtain and record vitals, weight, and inputs and outputs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- High School diploma equivalency OR one year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
