What You Will Do- Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
- Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
- Document treatment interventions given.
- May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
- Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or having a temporary license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy Program required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
