Pay range: $22.90 - $37.25 / hour

• To provide direct patient care under the supervision of manager and therapists.
• Coordinate/cooperate with assigned supportive personnel.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Document pertinent information with Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Communicate with staff, patients and families.
• Participate in educational activities, support departmental operations, and perform special projects.
• Coordinate assignments of Rehab Techs, work-study students and volunteers.

• Graduate from an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or practicing under a limited permit as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy required.
• Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
