Travel or Local Tele RN Job - Birmingham, AL
Telemetry RNs (Tele RNs) consult with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The Tele RN utilizes machines that measure a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information.
Responsibilities- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies.
- Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient.
- Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member.
- Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays (Shift: 7A).
