Position Overview- Pay range: $29.25 - $47.55 / hour
- Sign-on bonus: $5,000 new hire sign-on bonus may be available (full-time only)
- Shifts: full-time and part-time AM, flexi/PRN

Joining our radiology team at UAB Medicine positions you to work with some of health care’s most innovative minds, to help move the practice of medical imaging forward. Our CT, MRI, X-Ray, and ultrasound technologists shape the future of medical imaging and patient care at our adult Level I Trauma Center, where we care for the most acute patients in the region.

The work location for this position is The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital, a specially designed “superclinic” for outpatient medical care and renowned for providing the most advanced health care services that are both compassionate and convenient for our patients and their families.
To perform MRI procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. To perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply MRI techniques to provide diagnosis. To assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Qualifications- Associate's degree in Radiology. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
- ARRT registered in radiography or registry eligible required. If registry eligible, registration must be obtained within six months of employment.
- Advanced certification in MRI required or must be obtained within twelve months.
- Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
