Assists with the assessment of patient needs by taking vital signs, blood pressure and patient history. Prepares exam rooms and assists physicians with exams and medical procedures. Administers intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. Documents visit information in Greenway Prime Suite EHR.
Qualifications- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Patient first commitment to nursing
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to work with patients, families, providers and co-workers to provide high-quality patient care
- Demonstrates a professional attitude and appearance
- At least three (3) years of experience as a medical assistant preferred
- Experience with Greenway Prime Suite electronic health records (EHR) a plus
