In Special Lab Service at Main Campus Children's of Alabama
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Night shift, Mon - Fri, Rotating Weekends.
SummaryResponsible for the collection and accessioning of patient specimens. Performance of clerical work in support of laboratory activities. Performs EKGs, Rhythm strips, and rapid strep procedures. Assistance in the performance of technical tasks as assigned.
Other information- Basic knowledge of laboratory tests
- Basic medical terminology
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician or Certified Phlebotomy Technician
- High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
- 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Laboratory Services
