AB Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for the 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a related field.
• National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services.
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, stand or sit for extended periods, see and read computer and printed materials, hear and understand speech, and communicate clearly.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including walking, standing, stooping, and lifting up to 25-40 pounds.

Job Description:

Caseload and classroom type vary by school location. Details can be discussed upon application to match your experience and skills. The contract runs through the 2024/2025 school year, with a 37.5 to 40-hour workweek aligned with the academic calendar.

Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy to improve students' communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• Identify students needing speech or language services and develop tailored interventions.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and implement communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote student growth.
• Assess individual needs and develop personalized solutions aligned with curriculum goals.
• Model professional behavior and promote character development.

Salary: $2,800.00 to $3,000.00 per week, DOE
